These two proverbs represent the quintessence of the  Malagasy wisdom and culture.

The challenge for President Marc RAVALOMANANA is the fast but durable development of Madagascar, so that his people want to join him in his aspirations.This development is not only an ambition but also a duty.

The Malagasy Government is there to enhance this ambition, and to work towards its realization. Embassies and outside Representatives conform to the orientations and the strategies.

The Embassy of Madagascar in London was reopened 2 years ago to take up the challenge of the government and to revive the relationship between the United Kingdom and Madagascar.      Actually, the relations between both countries have a very longstanding emotional history, marked with the memory of the opening of the first Malagasy Embassy on October 20th. 1820.

Undoubtedly, communication has become an essential lever to the success of this challenge and therefore, this website has been developed to strengthen the relationship with the public.

The Embassy wishes to especially promote Madagascar in England, and to help the national Malagasy and every person wishing to go to Madagascar, either on a tourist visit or as an investor.
